NBA Picks Against the Spread for Saturday, March 7, 2020
Yesterday was our first ass-whooping since we went live with our NBA Picks Against the Spread. If history rhymes, our NBA Picks Against the Spread will rebound tonight.
Just six games to pick from tonight with four plays.
DENVER NUGGETS (-9.5) at CLEVELAND CAVALIERS Total 218.5
Denver is a solid 18-12 on the road, which stacks up well against Cleveland’s 9-25 home record. It’s not as lopsided when looking at their ATS records. The Nuggets are 13-15-2 versus the number away from home while the Cavaliers are 12-20-2 at home.
The Cavs haven’t been that bad of late, going 5-4-1 against the number. Double digits might be too much.
The PLAY: CAVALIERS +9.5
ATLANTA HAWKS at MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES (-6) Total 234.5
Trae Young put coronavirus rumors to bed with a tweet after missing last night’s game due to illness. He tweeted, “I ain’t THAT sick y’all… Relax lol” A later tweet from the emerging star suggests he’ll suit up tonight, “Another Day, Another Opportunity 100”.
The Ja, Trae matchup should be up tempo. So, we favor the total.
The PLAY: OVER 234.5
PHILADELPHIA 76ERS (-4) at GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS Total 220
No Steph (Illness), no Dyramond, no Golden State play. Despite all their injuries, the 76ers keep putting up points. So, we take lay the number and play total.
The PLAY: 76ERS -3.5
PHILADELPHIA 76ERS (-4) at GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS Total 220
The PLAY: OVER 220
